Recent Studies Show that Good Exercise May Lead to Good Mental Health

A recent report put together over 1100 studies on how good exercise can lead to good mental health. The report reviewed studies from the past 30 years and found that 89% of people had a positive association between physical activity and mental health. The top three exercise exercise types that were linked to mental health benefits are general physical activity, aerobic activity, and yoga. Researchers say to see benefits the physical activity should occur several times a week and the intensity should be moderate to vigorous. Anna Louden has more on how physical activity can have a positive impact on mental health.
